In just a little bit, Casey and I will be leaving for an almost week long trip to Seattle. I’m going to be attending the Web Design World 2005 conference for work and Casey will be my travel companion. This is the first time she has been able to go on a conference trip with […]
I’m spending the day observing Megaconference Jr. 2005, the world-wide videoconferencing event for K-12 students. According to the official registration list, there are 192 different sites either observing or presenting throughout the 12 hour event. Naturally, problems occur when that many people on the same conference. By far the biggest issue has been sites leaving […]
I’ve been a bad blogger! I just realized that today is exactly one month since my last post here. Needless to day, I’m still alive. Looking back, November was pretty busy, although I didn’t realize it as it was happening. Here’s a quick summary of what I was up to: Developing a major web-based application […]
This is supporting material for a presentation I gave on blogging packages and technologies. This presentation was given at the North Dakota Association of Technology Leaders Fall Face2Face conference in Minot, North Dakota on September 28th, 2004.
It’s been awhile since I last wrote, and a lot has happened in that time. I have been really busy with both work and school the month, although that’s not really anything new. I’ve been doing a lot of little projects and activities for work, and it almost feels like I’ve been running in place […]

Many of these topics were at least touched on during the PHP|Cruise conference last week, so I’ve at least heard of them before. I’m hoping to implement some of these features/packages/techniques in my […]
I’m finally back in the office today. While the conference was very good and informative, and the weather down in the Caribbean was beautiful, it’s good to be back home. I had some good catch-up time with Casey over the weekend, and now I’m trying to get things sorted out at the office. In the […]
So far, the conference has been going pretty well, and has been interesting. There is a very diverse group of people from all over the world, which probably represents the actual PHP community well.
Today has been a pretty relaxing day. The clouds disappeared shortly after noon, leaving us with clear skies and warm temperatures.
I spent the better part of the morning trying to finalize more items related to next week’s conference. For about the last month, I’ve been meaning to arrange for a shuttle/taxi to take us from the Orlando airport to our hotel in Cape Canaveral. I assumed that a shuttle bus would be the least expensive […]
