This past weekend, the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux hockey team played our arch rivals, the Minnesota Gophers. It was some of the best hockey I’ve seen this year, and in case you missed it, featured an amazing goal by UND player Robbie Bina:
Jeff Frazee was the unfortunate goalie on the receiving end of that shot. He’s never going to live that one down…

That’s just being sloppy on Frazee’s part. Looked more like an overthrown pass to center.
It was all slop on Frazee’s part, which is why he was pulled for the next two periods. Since no one else was on that end of the ice, he should have came way out to deflect it away from the goal. Instead, he sat there and got a bad bounce.
I actually saw a similar thing happen in Nov. during a Panthers v. Islanders, where Belfour looked like he was suffering from rickets.
