I spotted this at a local grocery store while bell ringing for the Salvation Army a couple of nights ago:
I’m not completely sure why, but stuff like this really bugs me. Maybe it’s because it smacks of trying too hard, or because it’s probable copyright infringement. More than likely, it’s because I feel people get an inaccurate picture of Christianity when comes off as a pop culture byproduct.
In addition to this Mythbusters knock-off, I’ve seen ones in the past for Deal or No Deal, The Da Vinci Code, and Lost. I wonder if this sort of promotion really brings more people into the church doors…
